I'm in love with Once-ler! His expression & acting is so funny and cute!

Too bad the main actor wasn't him

But the animators really did a good job on him and the lorax. (the interaction of these two characters are really good given the short time span on them)

Once-ler feels totally like Jang geun suk...

Maybe because I just finished watching You're Beautiful?

:/ not sure if it's just me linking them together but Once-ler's facial expressions really reminds me of jang geun suk

Great storyline

What's there not to love when a hitman living a mundane life let in an unpredictable girl whose family got killed by corrupted DEA agents.
Hitman whose life got turned upside by this girl.
DEA leader who is actually addicted to drugs. (btw, DEA means Drug Enforcement Administration whose job is to fight against drugs)

Great actors & actress
Jean Reno as the straightfaced but oh-so-cute Italian hitman
Gary Oldman as the corrupted agent (loved the way he twisted his body when he swallowed drugs)
Natalie Portman as the young girl (you just gonna LOVE HER! like seriously, such young age and she can act so well! she portrayed Mathilda so well!..if i saw this movie earlier i would love to try her role in my acting class!!!)

Always a tough choice for me to choose which Studio Ghibli's films to watch.

Currently my collection of Ghibil's films are Laputa; Castle in the Sky, Totoro and Howl's Moving Castle
(I lost Spirited Away and I can't find it anywhere at home.. yes.. someone please kill me)

Since Spirited Away wasn't available, I always can't resist but to put Howl's Moving Castle VCD (yes, vcd.. gonna save to buy the DVD!) into play.

Once I saw Howl... I'll go AWWWWWWWWWW...

One of the best 2D charisma guy I ever seen on screen. (another was Spirited Away, Haku)
Can't resist Ghibli's boys/men/guys..

Their character development is always developed so well, so gentleman.

Sigh.
and such a pretty boy.

One of the scenes I like best. Intense eyes stare at sleeping Sophie. 

Such unspoken stare.

Another scene that I like too. Sleeping Howl with new black hair. So young.

Another intense expression via the eyes.
In this scene, he go AH? when Sophie told him he should accept the castle invitation but to ask the king to stop the war.

I put this because of the nice animation of the hair rising and covering Howl's face (not shown here)

then......

Slowly falling down to his shoulder.

Another intense & oh-so-handsome eyes looking at Sophie (you lucky girl!)

Put this up because of the unspoken hand stopping Markl from proceeding further.

They didn't make Howl say "Stop, Markl" instead having him raised his hand gently signalling to Markl "Wait, I need to talk to her alone."

The unspoken action once again.

Don't you like it when you read finished a book and straightaway watched the movie and it's like those images that you visualized in your mind while you read appears just like what you expected in the movie.

Ok. Although the movie for Sisterhood doesn't quite follows the book but I like the part where they made Bridget more happy after Eric Richman came and apologise. (Because the book make it seems like Bee is feeling empty and sad because of what happened between eric and her (ok..it IS about them but..) and didn't really say it's about her mum)

I really like Carmen in the first movie.
and Tibby's one of the favs.. so is Lena and Beee... (ok, fine.. all is my favs!!!)

(Cant stand Bailey tho...z)

And I went to watch Sisterhood 2 !

星期五和男孩去看 The Rise of Planet of the Apes.
电影院售票的人真好笑。 因为 大概是要宣传 所以给了我们两条香蕉。（我已经知道Dole的香蕉很好吃啦！不过 good gimmick!）

其实本人觉得故事真的很不错的。

电影放映不到5分钟 我就想哭啦！

可是，回家google这部电影时 发现cesear 成长的部分太像太像 Project Nim了。 所以，有些小失望 :c

在电影方面， 我对于这种事是很在意的...

（不可能是 Project Nim 抄袭这部的。因为 Project Nim 是很久以前的悲伤故事!）

CG方面 （除了小猩猩） 大猩猩和其他宗族的猴子都有95%像！

包括 猩猩的动作和 behavior!

可是...演员的演习方面就有点 好像没那么好。就感觉有些部分 男主角还不到那真正的感觉啊 :/

不过，   Tom Felton的演技 就真的真的 很适合他！

他注定 演坏人啦！ 哈哈！

值得去看 这电影的 effects和节奏！

End 的太突然啦！ 哈哈！

was googling for neo-realist films to get ideas of how our film's main color should be and i saw some of the really nice films that i wanted to watch!

The Flight of the Red Balloon.

Nobody knows.

saw most of the comments saying that this trailer does not serve the correct mood of the film.
nonetheless, already had interest in this film few years back. thought it was a drama though so didn't really catch it that time.

Treeless Mountain.

Interesting story.

All those nice films and none of them had showed up in Singapore before.

Hope more people here will appreciate those niche market films.
